Who we are

This policy covers verdantwatt.com, run by VerdantWatt Inc., a company based in Toronto, Ontario. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What this website collects

Nothing about you directly. The site has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and it does not set cookies.

Like every website, our hosting provider handles the technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not use that data to identify or profile you.

When you contact us

Every contact link and the form on our contact page open your own email app. Nothing you type is sent to or stored on this website. When you send us an email, we receive your address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write.

We use it only to reply, to prepare any proposal you asked for, and to work with you. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for marketing. If we need to involve a contractor to answer you, such as an engineer for a site review, we share only what they need for that job.

How long we keep it

We keep correspondence for as long as we are talking or working together, and for as long as the law requires for business records after that. Then we delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@verdantwatt.com with the subject “Privacy request” and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
